Apple Fest – October 2010

With gratitude and wonder, we begin another gorgeous autumn in The Promised Land.  Below, a few photos from a family trip to Graves Mountain Lodge’s Annual Apple Festival.

    promised land, eh?

I think I understand, though. This past trip to Maine is the first time I returned to TJ saying, wow, I would really love to live in my homestate someday. It did really feel a little bit like “the promised land.” The mountains, the coast, fall beauty, runs and walks outside solo . . .it was stunningly beautiful–both physically and what was happening to me emotionally as I experienced it!
